Pousada de Angra do Heroismo is an historic design hotel located in Angra de Heroismo centre. This 5 star hotel has been built within a 16th century fortress known as Sao Sebastiao Castelinho (little castle). The Posada is surrounded by high walls (parts of which are ruins nowadays) that used to fly the Portuguese flag until recently.

Angra do Heroismo has been classified as a Word Heritage site by UNESCO in 1983.

Among other facilities, Pousada de Angra do Heroismo features two swimming pools including one for kids. There is also a bar and a restaurant, the 'Castelinho' that serves delicious traditional dishes that can be sampled at the terrace.

Rooms are facilitated with air conditioning, heating, LCD TV, mini bar, hairdryer, internet and phone. Most rooms offer breath taking views over the ocean.

Pousada de Angra do Heroismo also provides facilities to hold weddings, meetings and conferences.
